Modifiers are used to modify instructions, source registers, and destination registers. This section contains reference information for the modifiers implemented by pixel shader version 1_X.
Pixel Shader Version 1_4
Pixel shader version 1_4 includes two new instructions, texld and texcrd, which contain custom register modifier functionality. These instructions support different register modifiers, register selectors, and register write masks. For more information, see Texture Register Modifiers.
Modifiers - ps_1_X may not be used with constant registers in pixel shader version 1_4.
