IDirect3DBaseTexture9 Interface


Applications use the methods of the IDirect3DBaseTexture9 interface to manipulate texture resources including cube and volume textures.

Returns a value clamped to the maximum level of detail (LOD) set for a managed texture.

Retrieves the priority for this resource.

GetPrivateData

Copies the private data associated with the resource to a provided buffer.

GetType

Returns the type of the resource.

PreLoad

Preloads a managed resource.

SetAutoGenFilterType

Set the filter type that is used for automatically generated mipmap sublevels.

SetLOD

Sets the most detailed level of detail (LOD) for a managed texture.

SetPriority

Assigns the resource-management priority for this resource.

SetPrivateData

Associates data with the resource that is intended for use by the application, not by Microsoft?Direct3D? Data is passed by value, and multiple sets of data can be associated with a single resource.

Remarks

The IDirect3DBaseTexture9 interface assigned to a particular stage for a device is obtained by calling the IDirect3DDevice9::GetTexture method.

The LPDIRECT3DBASETEXTURE9 and PDIRECT3DBASETEXTURE9 types are defined as pointers to the IDirect3DBaseTexture9 interface.
