ID3DXRenderToEnvMap::BeginParabolic Method


Begins a scene for a parabolic environment map.

Syntax

HRESULT BeginParabolic(      

    LPDIRECT3DTEXTURE9 pTexZPos,     LPDIRECT3DTEXTURE9 pTexZNeg );

Parameters

pTexZPos
[in] Pointer to an IDirect3DTexture9 interface that represents the positive render texture.
pTexZNeg
[in] Pointer to an IDirect3DTexture9 interface that represents the negative render texture.

Return Value

If the function succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK.

If the function fails, the return value can be one of the following values.

D3DERR_INVALIDCALLThe method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter may have an invalid value.
E_FAILAn undetermined error occurred inside the Microsoft?Direct3D?subsystem.
