The KaraokeChannelAssignment property retrieves a value that indicates how the karaoke channels in a stream are assigned to the speakers.

Parameters
lStream
Long specifying the audio stream.
Return Values
This property returns a Long describing the speaker assignment for all the channels in a specified stream. Return values include the following.
Return Code | Description |
2 | The channels are assigned to the left and right speakers. |
3 | The channels are assigned to the left, right, and middle speakers. |
4 | The channels are assigned to the left, right, and audio1 speakers. |
5 | The channels are assigned to the left, right, middle, and audio1 speakers. |
6 | The channels are assigned to the left, right, and audio2 speakers. |
7 | The channels are assigned to the left, right, middle, and audio2 speakers. |
Error Codes
If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.
Value | Description |
E_UNEXPECTED | Unspecified error. |
VFW_E_DVD_INVALIDDOMAIN | You attempted to take the value in a domain that does not support this property. |
E_NO_DVD_VOLUME | No DVD in the machine. |
E_REGION_CHANGE_FAIL | The DVD has a different region than the player. |
E_INVALIDARG | lStream is less than 0. |
