The Category property retrieves the category of the device.

Syntax

objIMSVidDevice.Category As String

Parameters

This property takes no parameters.

Error Codes

If the property fails, an error is raised and Err.Number is set to a value other than zero.

Return Values

Returns a string representation of a GUID, which identifies the category.

Remarks

This property is read-only.
