The PID property sets or retrieves the MPEG2 Packet ID for this substream.

Syntax

objIMPEG2Component.PID As Long

Parameters

This property takes no parameters.

Error Codes

If the property fails, an error is raised and Err.Number is set to a value other than zero.

Return Value

This property returns the MPEG2 Packet ID for this substream as a Long integer.

Remarks

Do not confuse this property with the PCRPID property. The PCRPID property deals with the MPEG2 Packet ID for this substream's time stamps.
