The IBasicVideo2 interface derives from the IBasicVideo interface and provides an additional method for applications to retrieve the preferred aspect ratio of the video stream. The interface is implemented on the Video Renderer Filter, but is exposed to applications on the Filter Graph Manager.
In addition to the methods inherited from IDispatch and IBasicVideo, the IBasicVideo2 interface exposes the following method.
