ComponentType.MediaMajorType

The MediaMajorType property sets or retrieves the DirectShow Media Type Major Type.

This property takes no parameters.

Error Codes

If the property fails, an error is raised and Err.Number is set to a value other than zero.

Return Value

This property returns the DirectShow Media Type Major Type as a String formatted as a GUID.
