IDirect3DDevice9::EndStateBlock Method


Signals Microsoft?Direct3D?to stop recording a device-state block and retrieve a handle to the state block.

Syntax

HRESULT EndStateBlock(      

    IDirect3DStateBlock9 **ppSB );

Parameters

ppSB
[in, retval] Pointer to a state block interface.

Return Value

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK.

If the method fails, the return value can be

D3DERR_INVALIDCALLThe method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter may have an invalid value.


Remarks

The value 0xFFFFFFFF is an invalid state block handle.
