    D3DXHANDLE hParameter,     LPCVOID pData,     UINT Bytes );

Parameters

hParameter
[in] Unique identifier. See Handles.
pData
[in] Pointer to a buffer containing data.
Bytes
[in] [in] Number of bytes in the buffer. Pass in D3DX_DEFAULT if you know you buffer is large enough to contain the entire parameter, and want to skip size validation.

If the method succeeds, the return value is D3D_OK.

If the method fails, the return value can be D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.
